2024 Regattas
St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, Caribbean – 29 February – 3 March 2024
Celebrating its 44th year, this warm water regatta offers a four-day spectacle attracting over 20,000 visitors and is known for its motto of “serious fun” – a perfect start to 2024 regattas! With ideal conditions and a selection of races running throughout the week, this event is one for those who enjoy mixing business with pleasure – with ice-cold Heineken available to enjoy throughout the entertaining nights after a hard day of sailing.

Rolex China Red Sea Race, Hong Kong – 27 March 2024
Competitors will race from Hong Kong to Subic Bay in the Philippines on a 600-nautical mile journey. Having started in 1962 with just five competitors, the event has grown in size and has been officially recognized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club since 1972, drawing crowds to spectate this Asian blue-water classic.

52 Super Series, USA – 10-26 June, 224
For the 2024 Regatta, 52 Super Series returns to the USA – this time in Newport, Rhode Island which will coincide with the New York Yacht Club’s main summer events. Races for the Newport trophy will take pace throughout the week up and down the iconic Hudson River.
52 Super Series St Tropez, 2023
Cowes Week, UK – 27 July – 2 August 2024
Taking place each year on the Solent, situated between southern England and the Isle of Wight, Cowes Week draws crowds of 60,000 spectators to watch everyone from Olympians to weekend sailors race. With around 40 races a day and 5,000 competitors, this is one 2024 Regatta not to miss. There are many social activities alongside the races, including a week of live music and stage entertainment with food and drink stalls along the shore to enjoy the festival atmosphere to the fullest while watching the races.

Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Barcelona, Spain – 22 August, 12 October 2024
The opening ceremony for this annual event will be held in Barcelona on the 22 August. Following on from the Preliminary Regatta, the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Match will take place on 12 October. In the final, there is no second place – only one will be crowned victorious. At the 2024 regatta, the Defender Emirates Team New Zealand will face the Challenger Selection Series in a 13-race match.
Rolex Sydney Hobart Race, Australia – 25 December 2024 – 2 January 2025
Closing the 2024 regattas is one of the world’s most respected Category One races; this major race is a special way to celebrate the holiday season. A fleet of over 100 yachts are expected to take part, with many more anticipated as spectators. The race begins at 13:00 on Boxing Day each year, with competitors arriving in Hobart for New Year celebrations after the 628 nautical mile stretch. Competitors often range form 30-footers up to 100-foot maxis.
