PrivatSea Delivers Guest Lecture at Metropolitan College
PrivatSea were invited to the Metropolitan College to deliver a guest lecture to the Faculty of Shipping and Maritime Studies. It was a pleasure to engage with the next generation of maritime professionals and share our knowledge and experience in the field of luxury superyacht management.
With decades of expertise in managing superyachts for first class clientele, Technical Director Ioannis Speis, Crew Manager Antonis Dimitriadis, Hotel Manager Ann Montebello, and Hotel Operations & Executive Services Coordinator Aggeliki Tsilimigra spoke about the many facets of our work—including project management for new builds, refits and technical work, crew management, compliance, and the future of superyachts. Our goal was to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the unique challenges and responsibilities involved in the world of high-end maritime services.
During the session, we explored topics such as logistical planning, international maritime regulations, and sustainability in the yachting industry.
We are proud to contribute to educational initiatives that connect academic theory with practical industry knowledge, and we thank Metropolitan College for the opportunity to be part of this enriching experience.
