Panagiotis ZACHARAKIS

Panagiotis Zacharakis is Co-Chief Executive Officer of PrivatSea Group, with more than 30 years of international experience in corporate management, strategic and operational leadership, corporate governance, finance, auditing, and the maritime industry. As Co-Chief Executive Officer, he plays a key role in overseeing the Group’s strategic planning, commercial development, operational management, and corporate growth initiatives. His responsibilities extend across PrivatSea Group’s core business activities, including yacht management, technical services, commercial operations, and business development, supporting its presence across multiple jurisdictions. He is also actively involved in evaluating acquisition opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and executing the Group’s long-term growth strategy.

During his tenure with PrivatSea Group and Sete Yacht Management, Mr. Zacharakis has progressed through a series of senior executive positions, including General Manager, Legal Representative, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Chief Executive Officer. Throughout these roles, he has gained extensive experience in international yacht management, cross-border operations, client relationship management, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of complex technical projects.

Prior to joining PrivatSea Group in 2000, Mr. Zacharakis worked at Deloitte as a Senior Auditor, providing audit services to clients across a broad range of industries. He subsequently joined the Latsis Group, where he held internal audit positions responsible for conducting financial, operational, compliance, and risk-based audits across multiple international jurisdictions. His combined experience in Big Four auditing, corporate governance, executive management, and international yacht operations provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the commercial, operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic dimensions of the global superyacht industry.
